        When I made the decision to buy a diamond in my early  twenties I had

        no idea where to go.  After doing some research at local retailers I realized

        I couldn't afford what I wanted.  A 1 carat diamond was going to cost me

        over $7000.

        At that point I remembered a friend I had in the diamond business that I met

        on a trip overseas.  He was able to get me the same diamond for about $3000.

        Over the next few years I had been helping friends and family buy diamonds

        that they normally couldn't afford here in the USA.  When I realized how much

        demand there was for reasonably priced diamonds I decided to start Midwest

        Diamond Imports in 2000.  I wanted to be able to not only educate people,

        but also find the diamond of their dreams at a reasonable price.  I believe

        that every customer should be 100% SATISFIED and this should truly be the best

        of your life.
